Douglas Maple is a maker of custom harpsichords and clavichords patterned after historical prototypes, which encompass a wide variety of national schools and time periods. He has been active as a maker since 1975, and he currently builds on a part-time basis. Models are often chosen based on his own interests, but requests for interesting instruments will be considered.
