Prices

Base prices for harpsichords include a painted case in one or two solid colors (or natural wood finish where appropriate), a matching music desk, a trestle stand with turned legs, wooden jacks with Delrin or Celcon plectra, and a padded cover. Small clavichords do not include a stand, but one can be supplied as an option.  Large clavichords include screw-on legs.  Quotes for higher levels of case decoration, gilding, soundboard paintings, apron stands, and other options can be obtained. Unless otherwise requested, harpsichords include a transposing keyboard, allowing performance at A-415 and 440. A-392 can also be provided for if desired. Virginals are ordinarily non transposing.

A non-refundable deposit of $200 will secure a place on the waiting list, along with an estimate of the starting and ending dates of construction. Payments are normally made in three parts, the first of which must be received before construction begins, but alternate payment plans can be made for institutions who have difficulties with this type of arrangement.

Prices given here are for instruments delivered in the current year. Prices for instruments to be delivered in the future will be adjusted for inflation, with the final price set at the time of signing the contract.

The current delivery time for a new order is approximately three years.
